Dawna forma rubrigemmatus

Collector observation

The source describes Notocactus rubrigemmatus with a slightly acidic, free-draining substrate, light shading in high summer and easy flowering. Linking the name to Parodia concinna does not automatically transfer these observations to every population of the broadly defined species. [Biuletyn PTMK, Oddział we Wrocławiu 1989, file p. 8, 9]
