My name is Konrad Szychowski. I am a professor of medical and health sciences. I head the Department of Biotechnology and Cell Biology at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów. [20-WWW]
I work in neurobiology, neurotoxicology and cell biology. I study the effects of natural and synthetic substances on nervous system cells and their molecular mechanisms of action. [20-WWW]
Cacti are my hobby. I grow and photograph them, combining my interest in their biology with reading scientific publications. On this website I share knowledge about plants, material from my archive and cultivation observations.
