Collector's group protocol
Collector observationThe article on selected parodias recommends abundant sun, protection from rain and a mix of about 25% leaf mould with a mineral remainder. The author waters in spring and autumn, withholding water during hot summer weather. [Romulski 2006a, file p. 24, 25]
This should not be generalized to all former Notocactus now placed in Parodia. Five waterings per season is the author's schedule, not a watering amount for another greenhouse.
