Light, substrate and winter
Collector observationThe source describes a plant growing near trees and requiring a bright position. The mix may contain more humus than for cacti adapted to very dry conditions. Overwintering is above 10°C, with gentle moistening every 2–3 weeks in the author's collection. [McBrian 2004, file p. 21, 22]
Growth and flowering
Collector observationThe author's six-year-old plant reached about 90 cm. He associates flowering with a similar size. This is an observation of one specimen, not a guarantee under other conditions. [McBrian 2004, file p. 22]
