An experiment transferring two-year-old cacti of eight species to field conditions in Linares. A total of 208 plants were placed in six combinations of three substrates and eastern or western exposure, with watering and mesh protection. Survival and growth were assessed after 24 weeks. For Acharagma roseanum, called A. roseana subsp. roseana in the paper, consistent results in the text and figure indicate complete survival of the small samples on zeolite with peat in western exposure and on perlite with peat in eastern exposure.
