Eight field records of food use by Forpus xanthops from 2013–2018 in the Marañón valley. One documents feeding on the pulp and seeds of Armatocereus rauhii, and two concern Espostoa fruits. The note establishes fruit use by the parrot. Subsequent seed fate and effective dispersal were not investigated.
