Astrophytum asterias Superkabuto

Description and meaning of the name

A horticultural group distinguished by extensive, dense white patches of hairs. The pattern can be almost uniform, snowy, or arranged in bands and V-like marks. Snow type, V type and Zebra describe these variants. Cactus Art presents the founder plant story as uncertain. It does not confirm the pedigree of all current lines sold as Superkabuto.
