The short paper documents the armoured scale Lepidosaphes beckii on two cactus species in San Luis Potosí. Identification relied on adult female morphology. Insects were concentrated on shaded plant parts, and yellowish patches were observed at higher infestation levels. The record extends the scale insect’s documented host range.
