(Cactaceae) en un gradiente altitudinal, Gayana Botanica, 2016, 73(1):9-18, doi: 10.4067/s0717-66432016000100002
A comparison of three Maihuenia poeppigii populations along an elevational gradient in Chile. The authors measured xylem vessel size and density, cushion height and the water content of leaves and stems. The results show differences in the structure of the conducting system and in succulence between sites.
