A microscopic and histochemical analysis of nectaries in S. corregidorae and two S. disciformis subspecies. It presents ring-shaped secretory tissue in the hypanthium, its epidermis, nectarostomata and association with vascular bundles. It includes refractometric nectar readings from the UNAM collection and a hypothesis of bee pollination based on flower traits.
