A study of Pelecyphora aselliformis micrografting onto Opuntia ficus-indica rootstocks propagated in vitro. It compares 30 apical scions with 270 subapical sections, their graft success, shoot number and length after three and six weeks. It gives separate conditions for rootstock production, grafting and acclimatisation. Survival two months after transfer out of culture was 85%, pooled across the micrografts studied.
