An experiment on propagating the two classic Pelecyphora species from seedling apices and discs. It compares benzyladenine, kinetin and sucrose, shoot number after 60 and 180 days, and elongation on medium with activated charcoal. It describes rooting and acclimatisation, with rooting results of 89% and 87% and pooled survival of 88%. The tables allow different culture treatments and stage durations to be traced.
