Gorelick R., Immature Epithelantha micromeris resemble Epithelantha bokei, Haseltonia, 2026, 33(1):1-7, doi: 10.2985/026.033.0104

The article compares small pale stems with the appearance of E. bokei, proposes a paedomorphosis hypothesis and presents the underground parts of specimens and circumferential constrictions of older stems.
