An assessment of two bacterial strains from the surface of Tacinga inamoena, Brevibacillus sp. UPT4 and Pantoea sp. SPM1. Laboratory tests examine traits associated with growth promotion and tolerance of culture conditions. A 25-day greenhouse experiment measures cucumber growth after seed inoculation. The results distinguish shoot length, root traits and the proportion of total seedling biomass in roots.
