Study of self-incompatibility groups in two collections of diploid epiphytic cactus cultivars. Crosses among 19 Schlumbergera cultivars and 10 Rhipsalidopsis cultivars identified eight and nine incompatibility groups, respectively. Crossing relationships were examined in relation to gametophytic self-incompatibility and variation at the S locus. Easter cacti were treated under Hatiora in the publication.
