An experiment on T. valdezianus shoot cultures comparing paclobutrazol, prohexadione calcium, salicylic acid and benzoic acid. It assesses shoot formation, symptoms of hyperhydricity and anatomical tissue traits. Under the conditions studied, paclobutrazol reduced symptoms of excessive hydration and increased shoot number, while the other additives increased symptom frequency. The paper gives medium and laboratory culture conditions.
