A study of Eulychnia phylogeny and biogeography using plastid markers and SNP data obtained by GBS. It presents the relationship with Austrocactus, two main Chilean lineages, the distinctness of Peruvian material and discrepancies between trees. Dating and range reconstruction models are used to assess a scenario of Pleistocene habitat fragmentation. Possible introgression and calibration limitations are also described.
