Transformation of Rhipsalidopsis ‘CB5’ callus using Agrobacterium tumefaciens LBA4404. Tissues carrying uidA and nptII were obtained and adventitious shoots regenerated. Outcomes were assessed with GUS staining, NPTII protein detection and Southern blot analysis. The methods identify ‘CB5’ as a hybrid of R. gaertneri and R. rosea.
