Field experiments on Stapelia hirsuta var. hirsuta, treated in the paper as Ceropegia pulvinata var. pulvinata. The authors analyse scent, colour, hairs and the height at which flowers are presented. Removing hairs shortened probing time, and raising flowers by a metre reduced the number of visits.
