A description of wet rot in Austrocylindropuntia subulata from Iran. Klebsiella aerogenes was identified from isolate traits and the rpoB sequence. Its association with the disease was tested by infecting healthy plants and reisolating the bacterium. The paper's scope covers the aetiology of the disease.
