Development of eight polymorphic microsatellite loci for Ariocarpus bravoanus. Material comprised 20 plants from one population and three commercial plants. Individual loci had four to eight alleles, and observed heterozygosity differed among markers. The authors analyse Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium and linkage and propose further marker uses in population studies and species conservation.
