Regeneration study of Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus using tubercles of seedlings raised aseptically from seeds. Media and growth regulators were compared, producing direct organogenesis from areoles and indirect organogenesis through callus. The paper also describes somatic embryo structures, shoot rooting, effects of excessive hydration and survival of rooted plants after transfer to soil. Each induction treatment comprised six sections.
