Ortegocactus macdougallii
A cactus from Oaxaca with globose stems, flat rhomboid tubercles and yellow flowers. It has a small natural range and slow growth. In tissue cultures, new shoots formed from areole meristems and through adventitious organogenesis in response to specific combinations of growth regulators.
