Origin and scope of the compilation
A copy of the page “Kaktusy mrozoodporne” survives in Konrad Szychowski's private archive of materials. The document was saved in November 2010. The page's publication date and the author of the account remain unidentified. The copy contains a description of overwintering under cover, a list of plants in the collection and an extensive temperature list for cacti and other succulents. The old address digilander.iol.it/cacti/tempA.htm was given with the compilation. [Anonim b.d.q]
The list includes 954 entries. Values were retained as in the copy, including ranges given collectively for genera. For individual entries, the source leaves plant provenance, exposure duration, hydration, temperature measurement method and damage-assessment criterion unspecified. The data present a historical cultivation compilation. Controlled studies with descriptions of material and methods are discussed in the physiology of cactus frost hardiness. [Anonim b.d.q]
Plants listed in the archived collection
The author of the old page listed 16 entries from their own collection. Grafting was noted for two plants identified as Navajoa, and one Echinocereus triglochidiatus retained the number DJF 1145. The following list reproduces the scope of those identifications. [Anonim b.d.q]
Echinocereus coccineus v. guerneyi
Echinocereus triglochidiatus DJF 1145

An observation over several freezing nights
A separate account described several nights at −4°C, after which the observer noted no adverse effects in the three plants listed. The reported temperature and verbally described duration have been retained. The copy does not specify the observation date, number of plants or how their condition was assessed. [Anonim b.d.q]
Temperature list
Main names correspond to accepted atlas names where the historical identification permits an unambiguous link. Archive names remain in parentheses. Other entries retain the source identification. Synonyms refer to the scope of the historical name associated with the recorded temperature. [2-WWW] [27-WWW]
Two entries retain unusual notation from the copy, “10” for Echinocereus berlandieri and the letter “O” for Mammillaria spinosissima ssp. pilcayensis. They appear with the annotation “source record”. [Anonim b.d.q]

[Autor nieustalony, Mrozoodporne kaktusy i Program ochrony kaktusów, b.d.q]
Older pages on frost-hardy cacti and a plant protection document, preserved in Konrad Szychowski's private materials archive. The “Kaktusy mrozoodporne” copy, saved in November 2010, contains 16 collection entries, an account of several nights at −4°C and 954 temperature-list entries for cacti and other succulents. It gives older plant identifications and threshold values. Measurement methods, exposure duration and injury criteria remain unspecified. The old page's publication date and account authorship are undetermined.
